Required topics

2 hours in an ethics and Indiana jurisprudence course related to physical therapy

Rules to know

PTs and PTAs have the same requirement.
At least 10 hours must be Category I courses, and no more than 10 hours can come from Category II.
Only activities approved under the board's rules count. APTA, APTA Indiana and FSBPT are approved sponsors.
Hours must be earned in the current renewal period and can't be carried over.
If your license was issued 12 to 23 months before renewal, you need 12 hours (including the 2 ethics and jurisprudence hours); under 12 months, none.
Keep proof of completion for 3 years after the renewal.
