Rules to know

- Hours can't be carried over to the next period.
- New graduates don't need hours in the CE year they graduate, and need 15 in the second year.
Official sources
This is a plain-language summary to help you plan. Rules change and your board has the final word, so confirm with the sources above before you renew. These are physical therapy rules: OTs renew through the state's occupational therapy board, and athletic trainers also keep their BOC certification.
