Rules to know
- A 2023 law tells the board to set CE requirements by rule, but no rule has been adopted yet. The board reviewed draft CE rule language at its January 28, 2026 meeting, so expect a requirement once that rule is final.
- Until the rule takes effect, Maine renewal needs no CE hours. If you also practice in a compact state, that state's rules still apply.
