Required topics
- No specific topics. Courses must relate to physical therapy practice.
Rules to know
- Courses must come from a New York State approved provider. Independent study and informal study groups don't count.
- There is no limit on online courses from approved providers.
- You don't need CE during your first three-year registration period.
- A registration period shorter than three years needs 1 hour per month.
- CPR counts only if the course includes AED instruction.
