Wyoming OT and OTA CEU requirements
What occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants need to renew a Wyoming license, summarized from the board's own rules. Last checked October 24, 2026.
Required topics
None. Any course that meets the rules below counts.
Rules to know
- Licenses renew every year, but you report your CE hours only with the renewal in even-numbered years.
- Hours must have been earned in the 3 years before the renewal. Live, online and college courses, conferences and student supervision count.
- For courses not sponsored by NBCOT, AOTA or WYOTA, add a written course description to your CE log. Courses from providers those groups merely approve don't count as sponsored.
- New licensees: licensed in an even year before July 31, no CE that year; licensed in an odd year, 12 hours at the next even-year renewal.
- Keep documentation in case you're audited.
