Missouri OT and OTA CEU requirements
What occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants need to renew a Missouri license, summarized from the board's own rules. Last checked October 24, 2026.
Required topics
None. Any course that meets the rules below counts.
Rules to know
- You verify your credits on the renewal form; without that, the license isn't renewed.
- If you were licensed partway through the cycle, prorate the 24 credits by months licensed.
- Presenting, teaching and other activities count, each with its own cap and documentation in the rule's table.
- Keep documentation for 2 years after renewal.
- One continuing competency credit (CCC) is one contact hour (50 minutes or more); 1 CEU is 10 CCCs.
